This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Maybe I Will LLC collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. We collect the minimum we need to sell you something and deliver it, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Maybe I Will LLC, doing business as Andie Thueson is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. The trading name Andie Thueson refers to the same company. You can reach us at [email protected].

Email is our contact of record for privacy requests. A postal address is available on written request.

2. Information you give us

Contact information. Your name and email address when you purchase, subscribe, or contact us
Birth information. Your birth date, birth time, and birth city when you request a generated chart report
Payment information. Processed directly by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits of your card and your billing country. We never receive or store your full card number
Anything you send us. The content of emails, form submissions, intake questionnaires, and messages you choose to share

3. Information collected automatically

When you visit our website we and our service providers may collect standard technical information including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site working, understand general traffic patterns, and protect against abuse.

Our report delivery pages use your browser's local storage to record how many reports have been generated on that device. This is a technical safeguard, it stays on your device, and we cannot read it.

4. Your birth information, specifically

We know this is the sensitive part, so here is exactly what happens to it. The birth date, time, and place you enter are transmitted to our chart calculation provider to produce your chart, and the resulting chart data is transmitted to our automated writing provider to produce your report. Your report is generated in your browser and downloaded by you. We do not store your birth information or a copy of your finished report in our own systems, and your report is not saved to a database we can access. If you contact us for a replacement copy, we will need you to supply your birth details again.

Birth data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with anyone beyond the providers listed below who process it in order to produce your report.

5. How we use your information

To take payment and deliver the product you purchased
To generate your report from the birth information you supplied
To provide customer support and respond to your messages
To send you emails about the product you bought, including delivery and access information
To send marketing emails, where you have subscribed or purchased and have not unsubscribed
To keep our website secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations
To understand in aggregate how our website and products are used, so we can improve them

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract to deliver what you bought, legitimate interests to run and secure our business, consent for marketing emails where consent is required, and legal obligation where a law applies to us.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only so far as they need it to do their job. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Cookies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember your session, and measure general usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

8. How long we keep it

We keep customer and order records for as long as needed to provide support, meet tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. We keep email subscriber records until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. As described above, we do not retain birth information or generated reports.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of your information, a copy in a portable format, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

10. International transfers

We operate from the United States and our service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including transmitting data over encrypted connections and keeping payment processing with a specialist provider so that we never hold card details ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
