Once of my current goals is to lean up and lose fat – So metabolism boosting is KEY! I LOVE this yummy and easy smoothie I discovered while perusing the pages of the Power Smoothies cook book!

Almond Up! 

adapted from Power Smoothies by Keith Sebastian and Samuel Barnes

1 Cup hulled strawberries ( I used fresh frozen)

1 banana

1/8 Cup blanched raw almonds

1 Cup almond milk

1/2 Cup Chilled Green Tea

Ice, to desired consistency

Blend and Enjoy!

    I like to throw in a half avocado or some silken tofu. Both give a great consistency and add a healthy punch.
