I am a shopper, and I love trying new products. In fact, it is kind of in my job description. As a blogger, yes, many products are sent to me to try in hopes of a mention on my site or my social media channels. Often I will give them a try, and I am disappointed. I am also very picky. So many times, products sent to me never see the light of day on my site. I still have nightmares from some of the “healthy” goodies I have had to taste. 🤢
Besides all the goodies I get in the mail to review, I also buy items with my own money. I, too, get swayed by influencers and their favorite finds. (Haha)
I thought I would start a new annual tradition where I showcase my top 10 favorite finds of the year—kicking it off in 2021!
So please sit back, grab your favorite drink of choice, and I share with you the ten products that I discovered that rocked my world in 2021.
Day Designer Planner: My son bought me this planner for Christmas last year, and it has been my favorite planner yet. I love how it gives me a daily “time schedule” to time-block my days. Learning how to time block alone should be its own item of things that rocked my world in 2021 🤯 . It also gives space for a monthly calendar, daily notes, daily to-do lists, and a space for my top three must-get-done activities. It also comes with cool gold stickers. It is one of the first planners I have really used daily. Plus, I am a tactile person and need to have pen and paper in hand when mapping out my days.
Denman Hair Brush: I got suckered into buying this one in an online post of the best TikTok products that live up to the hype. I curl my hair weekly, and this brush helps keep my curls looking great all week. I love this brush! It is a steal for less than $20, especially if you have curly or thick hair. I bought some for my girls for Christmas so they would have their own, so they would stop stealing mine.
Dental Gauze Pads: Stick with me on this one; I promise they will rock your world. If you use a toner or astringent-based product, you want to order these! They are less thirsty than traditional cotton pads, so your expensive product will last longer, saving you $$.
Tongue Scraper: This may seem like another oddball life changer. But it has been such a great find! There are a ton of benefits to a tongue scraper, such as:
- Improve + heighten your taste buds
- Improve your tongue’s appearance – no more coated tongue!
- It helps to improve and prevent bad breath.
- It helps eliminate harmful bacteria, improving overall health.
I did a video tutorial on TikTok and YouTube, and both videos have won the year with the most views.
Rubbermaid Party Platter: Another influenced decision here, but it has been so lovely to cut up a bunch of veggies and have them ready to go in the fridge. We are actually going through our veggies and not wasting them.
Perk Naturals: Back in February, I started my Keto journey, and I thought I would have to give up my beloved daily cup of Perk. I was so excited when I found out that their natural line has 0-2 net carbs. Having this tasty cup of sweet goodness when needed has helped me tremendously on my keto journey! The naturals are great for anyone that wants to cut back on sugar; the naturals are made with stevia and monk fruit and now weird chemicals! USE Code ANDIE for 15% off!
Teleties: I have a gal with a lot of hair. Finding hair ties that will hold my hair back while working out has been a constant search and disappointment. The only thing that worked for me was the black goodie hair ties, but they left a weird pump in my hair, leaving me with an all-day ponytail as my only option. Plus, they are hard on your hair. I was sent Teleties to try, and I had minimal expectations, if any. I have been constantly disappointed by all hair ties I have tried. Teleties are awesome. They hold my hair back and keep it in place, even giving me a nice perky ponytail when I want one. And no weird lines when I take them out after working out. They are legit!! My girls also love them and are constantly stealing them. USE Code Partner10 for an additional 10% off your order.
Van’s Socks: I have a love-hate relationship with socks. I don’t love wearing socks, but my feet beg to differ. Not wearing them results in an odor, not even I can stand. Van’s socks are great because they are super minimal, and they stay in place, unlike other sock liners. Plus, they come in all kinds of fun colors and styles. My daughter bought them for Christmas last year, and I am hooked! Go grab yourself a new pair or two!
Stanley 40oz Tumbler Cup: This tumbler was another “influenced” purchase. I seemed to see these dang tumblers everywhere, and everyone rushed about how awesome they were. So I put my name on the waiting list. Yes, there is a waiting list. I bit the bullet and ordered one when they were finally back in stock. And it is indeed magical. It keeps my beverage cold all day. It is the perfect size and easily fits a cup holder; it has a straw and a handle! I use it daily to help me hit my water intake goals.
Running Fanny Pack: I love walking and running outside when the weather is nice, and I hated trying to figure out a comfortable spot to fit my ginormous phone. My little built-it pocket in my shorts and leggings wasn’t cutting it; shoving it into my sports bra didn’t bode well. So I found this cheap fanny pack on Amazon, and it has been great. It may seem like a weird item to have on a list of things that rocked my world, but it indeed did.
F*ing Focus: I feel I need to add this one as well. I can struggle with Focus, and I tend to have a bit of ADHD when it comes to sitting and getting work done. F*ing Focus has been a game-changer for me. It has helped me get clear and focused when I sit down to work.
It was so much fun to look back over my year and remember the purchases that made a difference in my life and are now part of my everyday routines. I love seeing my money well spent. On the other hand, I got a little sick over some of my purchases that were a complete waste of money. But you live, you learn, right?!
I hope my favorite finds of 2021 help rock your world too! We all can’t get enough good things in our lives!
