Fitness Tracking Made Easy
I have been debating and debating for months on whether or not getting a Fitbit was worth it. I am always on the move and working out isn’t a problem for me. So why invest in one? What extra benefit would it bring? I hashed it out forever, or so it seemed. Then when I was shopping at Kohl’s I broke down and bought one. Not anyone… The Fitbit HR Charge, the crème de la crème of Fitbits. I have seriously not taken it of my wrist {except for shower breaks – which I use to charge the dang thing} since I bought it! I am in LOVE! It helps me know EXACTLY how many calories I burn in a day, how many steps, my resting heart rate, and how many hours of sleep I log every night! And all this intel is sent right to my phone for even better review.
So you might be asking yourself why all this information is exactly necessary?! It will help you build very REAL and useable data that you can use to help you improve and better understand how many calories you need to consume to reach your goals. Way Cool!
Most of us tend to overestimate how many calories we actually burn in a day. And therefore consume more calories than we should. Knowledge is power. And power enables us to stay on track and really understand what is needed to help us reach our goals. If I want to have a daily caloric deficit of 500 calories for healthy weight loss; I track how many calories I have burned in the day as well as how many I have consumed right all within the Fitbit App on my iPhone. This is a great feature and you cannot argue or mess with cold hard facts. 😉
Another fun and insanely addictive feature is the ability to connect with your friends who also have Fitbits and challenge them to see who can get the most steps… This is sooo much fun. And if you are a competitive person like me, you will LOVE this! I find myself finding ways to get extra steps in to hit my daily steps goal! Even my family has jumped on the band wagon and loves to help me get my steps in. It has become such a fun way for us all to be more active as a family.
So I am pretty sure Mr. Thueson will be getting one as well very shortly 😉 he has been eyeing mine.
You can find the Fitbit Charge HR and other Fitbit products at Kohl’s
Bottom line if you are just starting your fitness journey or you are a fitness junkie you will absolutely love and adore your Fitbit! The information will help push you and give you REAL data that can help you use to succeed!
So #MakeYourMove and get to stepping! I know I will

You’re right about the Fitbit. I don’t have one but my friend does and she talks about it constantly. Correction, she doesn’t just have the Fitbit – she has the Fitbit Charge HR, same as you. I am planning to get one soon. I’ve found if you can’t beat them, join them.
Seriously they are a game changer! 🙂 You’ll love it!
