I am 99.9% sure I am an underpaid/unpaid chauffeur driver. 
Some days it feels like I live in my car! Drop off the kids, grab groceries, pick up the dry cleaning, run an endless amount other errands before picking the kids back up and taking them to their activities. Some days can be non-stop! 
This time in my life is busy!! And it can be hard to stay on track when it comes to my overall health!
I am a firm believer in the old adage… That states if you fail to plan you plan to fail! That is sooo true!! The truth is you can eat and stay healthy even if you have an extremely busy lifestyle! I am pretty sure I have met no one who would consider themselves NOT busy…LOL 
For example, I blog, take care of three adorable munchkins, drive a lot {as previously mentioned}, and coach others with their fitness and weight loss goals.
I LOVE my life and know that making my health a priority helps me to stay focused and strong so that I can meet all the demands that are placed upon me with a happy and joyful heart!
How do I do this!? How do I stay healthy among some downright chaotic times? I PLAN ahead and make sure my fridge is well stocked with pre-portioned, healthy options, make sure I am taking supplements that help keep me healthy and exercise! 
Making your health a priority as an adult is HARD sometimes it’s so much easier to grab garbage when you’re on the go all day, sleep in, and put taking care of yourself last. With so much on our plates finding balance is a struggle!
Here are some of my favorite go-to tips for keeping it healthy, that help keep me healthy and remind me to make my health a priority. 
  1. Remember to Plan Ahead — Think about your day! Plan to have a healthy well-balanced snack every couple hours… Your body and metabolism will thank you! By eating more frequently you keep that metabolism firing burning all day!
  2. Drink Your Water! (A common theme of mine) — ALWAYS ALWAYS have a water bottle on hand! Aim to drink at least 2/3 of your weight in ounces every day!
  3. Always pair a carbohydrate with a protein… These two are a POWER couple, they provide long-lasting energy and manage hunger
  4. Be Smart… Make SMART Choices… If you HAVE to do a drive-thru — order a grilled chicken salad with a vinaigrette. Most restaurants have healthy options if you seek them out!
  5. Live your life! This is a WAY of life, not a diet. Never ever be on a diet! Remember making good choices will make your life happier and healthier! Indulgences are important too! But remember they are that… indulgences and are meant to be a special treat! Not a daily thing!
  6. Carve out time every day to MOVE! Even if it is only 20-30 minutes it will help reduce stress, and keep you feeling healthy and strong!
