Have a mentioned lately I love a challenge? 

If someone says I can’t do something, I am going to try my hardest to prove them wrong. 

Call it stubborn, call it dumb, call it what you will, but this tenacity had served me well in life. It has driven me to accomplish more in my life than most people ever thought possible and I feel like I am only beginning! 

I think that is why AMRAP {As Many Rounds As Possible} workouts are a personal favorite of mine. 

I get to challenge myself, by doing the exact same workout – but pushing myself to beat the number of rounds I completed last time, and the best part is no matter what when the 20-minute AMRAP timer goes off I am done! Ha 😉 

Looking for a fun way to challenge yourself - this 20 minute AMRAP can be done anywhere and will push you to improve each time you complete it!

 

To complete this 20 Minute AMRAP workout simply set your timer for 20 minutes – Or just set the time for how long you want to workout 10min, 15 min, or 30 minutes! 

And you will complete the following 

  • 10 Burpees 
  • 8 Push Ups 
  • 20 Sit Ups 
  • 20 Squats 
  • 30 Second Plank 
  • 10 Lunges 1-1 =1  

Complete each exercise that = 1 round, take a quick 30-60 second break and then start another round see how many rounds you can accomplish during the 20 minutes 

1st Exercise:

I think this might be my favorite caught in the action burpee photo it really shows the jump up and out movement! You got 10 each round!

Drop down and give me 8 – each round make sure to keep good form – try and do as many as you can on your toes each round before dropping to modified if needed.

20 Sit Ups – Preferably not on asphalt – the things I do for a photo!

Drop it low for 20 squats – for variation point your feet out for a pile squat

Hold Plank for 30 seconds, again preferably not on asphalt. Keep your bum down, and core tight.

Lastly, you have 10 Lunges – That’s 10 Per Leg – God gave you two legs you’ve got to lunge them both. 

Now Rest 30-60 Seconds and start right back up and the top! 

And after you’re all done with the jumping,  lunging, squatting and sitting up -reward your body with some BCAA’s – they are seriously so helpful for helping your body to repair itself after a workout! I found this gem of a tank at Target and it is so perfect! I am always sippn’ on my gym juice and by “juice” I mean BCAAs – This month I have been enjoying the grape flavor Big 6 from Now® Foods it tastes just like a yummy grape popsicle – I have been adding a squeeze of lime and it is super refreshing!
